Understand your swing score
Read the score as a progress signal and turn its component cues into focused practice.

Treat the score as a signal
Your swing score is designed to help you notice progress and consistency. It is not a verdict on your swing, a handicap estimate or a replacement for a coach.
Compare scores captured with the same camera angle, club and practice setup. A change in framing or perspective can change what the analysis can see.
Read the cues beneath it
The useful part of an analysis is the connection between a cue and what appears in the video. Review the relevant moment, read the coaching language and decide whether it matches what you were trying to do.
Do not chase every measurement at once. Choose the cue that is clearest and most relevant to your current goal.
Look for a pattern
A single swing can be noisy. Use a short set of similar swings to ask better questions:
- Is the same cue appearing repeatedly?
- Does the movement change when contact improves?
- Can you reproduce the change without forcing it?
- Does the score trend become steadier over time?
Keep human judgement in the loop
GolfMotion interprets visible motion from the recording. Camera position, lighting, clothing, occlusion and unusual movement can affect the result. If an observation does not match the video or how the swing felt, use it as a prompt to review—not as an instruction you must follow.
